[Asia Economy Reporter Buaeri] Bang Jun-hyuk, Chairman of Netmarble and Coway, delivered a message to employees on the 4th, urging a new leap forward with the relocation to the new headquarters.
Chairman Bang emphasized "Strong Netmarble, Healthy Netmarble" again during the online opening ceremony held in the afternoon for executives and company-wide leaders.
Chairman Bang said, "The essence of a 'Strong Netmarble' is developing fun games and making them globally successful," adding, "To achieve this, we must lead user and market trends through strategic innovation looking 2-3 years ahead, differentiated systems, and the fun of innovative content."
He continued, "The core of a Healthy Netmarble is that the company continues thorough and proactive quarantine measures during the COVID-19 pandemic, and employees protect their own health through strict prevention," urging, "Please consider various attempts and efforts to further improve the efficiency of remote work."
Furthermore, Chairman Bang stated, "I hope that the relocation to the new headquarters this year will become a solid foundation for Netmarble to strengthen its competitiveness and make a new leap forward."
Meanwhile, Netmarble is preparing to move into its new headquarters located in Guro-gu, Seoul, in the first quarter of this year. Netmarble's new headquarters, 'G Valley G Square,' is a 39-story building above ground and 7 floors underground, with a total area of 180,000㎡. The space will house not only Netmarble but also its affiliate Coway, as well as companies encompassing various IT and digital content sectors such as games, video, animation, and webtoons. In addition to existing workspaces, the new headquarters will include cultural facilities for local residents, such as a character park and a game museum.
