[Asia Economy Reporter Seongpil Cho] Hwang Unha, a member of the Democratic Party of Korea, was classified as a self-quarantine subject on the 31st after it was confirmed that he had been in contact with a confirmed case of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
Hwang's office explained, "A person who had dinner with him on the evening of the 26th was diagnosed with COVID-19 on that day, and Hwang was also classified as a close contact." Following the health authorities' guidelines, Hwang underwent a COVID-19 test that afternoon, and if the result is negative, he will enter self-quarantine until January 9.
Hwang attended the first meeting of the Democratic Party's Special Committee on Prosecutorial Reform on the 29th.
