[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Min-young] CJ Olive Young is launching differentiated marketing that enhances customer experience in celebration of the New Year.
CJ Olive Young announced on the 31st that starting from January next year, it will begin a monthly regular promotion called the 'Olive Kit,' which offers samples of selected popular brand flagship products at the beginning of each month.
The Olive Kit is a sample kit composed of this month's brand 'Olive Young Pick (Pick)' products, selected by CJ Olive Young considering seasonal and trend changes. By linking the monthly changing 'Olive Young Pick' brands with the kit composition, customers can experience the latest trends in the health and beauty market as quickly as possible.
CJ Olive Young plans to accelerate targeting so-called 'trysumers' who decide to purchase after trying products through regular kit promotions. The goal is to provide new experience elements and effectively introduce excellent products, thereby further increasing customer shopping satisfaction.
The first promotion, the 'January Olive Kit,' will feature 8 to 9 popular product samples from this month's 'Olive Young Pick' brands. Selected major brands propose dermocosmetics that strengthen the skin moisture barrier even in the cold midwinter and the latest health and beauty trends. These include ▲Botanic Heal Bo ▲Bioderma ▲Avene ▲Physiogel ▲Benton ▲Head Spa ▲Dalif ▲Cha & Park.
The January Olive Kit will be given on a first-come, first-served basis to CJ ONE members who purchase over 50,000 KRW at nationwide stores and the official online mall from the 1st until supplies last. The Olive Kit, made from eco-friendly materials, also includes related leaflets. The January leaflet features the 'Happy New Year Cow' character in celebration of 2021, the Year of the White Ox.
A CJ Olive Young official stated, “We introduced this promotion to diversify the experience elements available at Olive Young and enhance customer benefits. Starting with the 'Olive Kit,' we plan to continue differentiated marketing tailored to changes in customer consumption patterns in 2021.”
