[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Ji-hee] KOTRA announced on the 31st that it delivered 6.5 million won in donations collected by deducting salaries from domestic and overseas employees on the 30th to disabled patients at the Seongmo Jae Welfare Center.

Since 2018, KOTRA has donated treatment expenses for the disabled every year through year-end fundraising events. This year, donations were given to disabled patients aged 5 and 10 who did not receive timely speech and cognitive therapy.

This year, KOTRA expanded its social contribution activities to overcome the crisis, including ▲executive salary returns ▲fundraising for flood recovery ▲purchase of Onnuri gift certificates ▲group blood donations ▲donation of quarantine supplies to vulnerable groups.

Kwon Pyung-oh, President of KOTRA, said, “As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, the difficulties of socially marginalized people are also increasing,” and added, “We hope the warmth collected by domestic and overseas employees will become a source of comfort for disabled patients.”
