[Asia Economy Reporter Ra Young-cheol] As of 4 p.m. on the 25th, a total of 34 additional COVID-19 confirmed cases occurred in Goyang-si, Gyeonggi Province.
According to Goyang-si on the 25th, 31 people were confirmed positive on that day, and 3 people on the previous day (24th).
Among them, 17 are confirmed cases related to nursing facilities. At Nursing Home A, with 2 additional confirmed cases among residents, the cumulative confirmed cases reached a total of 36, including 30 residents (1 death) and 6 staff members.
At Nursing Hospital B, 15 additional confirmed cases were reported, including 12 residents and 3 staff members, bringing the cumulative confirmed cases to a total of 80, including 50 residents (3 deaths) and 30 staff members.
Among the infections related to nursing facilities, a total of 6 confirmed cases have addresses in other regions.
In addition, there are 7 confirmed cases among family members, 1 contact with a confirmed case within the region, 3 contacts with confirmed cases from other regions, 1 confirmed case residing in another region, and 5 confirmed cases with infection routes under investigation. One Goyang citizen residing in Deogyang-gu was tested and confirmed positive at the Eunpyeong-gu Public Health Center in Seoul.
Meanwhile, as of this date, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Goyang-si is 1,328, and the total number of confirmed Goyang citizens is 1,272 (1,223 domestic infections, 49 overseas infections / including citizens confirmed positive in other regions).
