Gyeongbuk Province focused on hygiene sector quarantine measures in response to the COVID-19 outbreak this year, emphasizing food safety management such as designating safe restaurants where residents can visit with peace of mind and self-cleanup initiatives for local stores.
Pohang City was highly recognized for distinctively promoting food culture improvement projects such as self-directed quarantine in hygiene establishments and the Safe Plate Challenge.
