Lee Si-eon Leaves 'I Live Alone'... "Not Marrying Seo Ji-seung, Focusing on Acting"

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bong-ju] Actor Lee Si-eon is leaving the show 'I Live Alone.' He denied the marriage rumors with his public girlfriend Seo Ji-seung, which were raised as the reason for his departure.

On the 9th, Lee Si-eon posted on his Instagram, "I plan to leave the MBC variety show 'I Live Alone,' which I have been a part of for over five years, at the end of this year," adding, "After long discussions with the production team, I expressed my desire to have more time to focus on my acting career, and after much consideration, we made this decision together."

He recalled, "'I Live Alone' is filled with precious memories that I will never forget for the rest of my life," and said, "Thanks to the production staff who always showed great support and trust, and the members who shared many moments of hardship and joy with me, I was able to spend truly happy times."

He added, "I consider it an incredible fortune to have received so much interest and love not only as actor Lee Si-eon but also as a person. Looking back, everything is just precious and I am filled with gratitude."

When marriage rumors with Seo Ji-seung surfaced as the reason for his departure, Lee Si-eon's side responded, "Absolutely not," and also dismissed suspicions that his public relationship with Seo Ji-seung was a burden to the program, saying, "No."

The production team of 'I Live Alone' also expressed gratitude to Lee Si-eon, who is leaving. The team stated, "We sincerely thank Lee Si-eon, who has brought joy with his strong presence and great humor on 'I Live Alone' for over five years," and added, "We respect actor Lee Si-eon's wish to focus on his acting career, and although it is regrettable, we have made this decision. We hope he continues to thrive as an actor and will cheer him on."

Meanwhile, Lee Si-eon joined 'I Live Alone' in 2016 and was loved for his 'Eolgani' character alongside Kian84, Henry, and Sung Hoon. Lee Si-eon will make his final appearance on 'I Live Alone' in the episode airing on the 25th.
