[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] On the afternoon of the 23rd, Cha Hyeon-il, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo-gu, attended the opening ceremony of the Shingil 4-dong Public Complex Building. Along with National Assembly member Kim Min-seok, District Council Chairman Go Gi-pan, about 40 district council members and heads of professional organizations, he participated in a facility tour, unveiling ceremony, and commemorative tree planting event.
The new Shingil 4-dong office houses a civil service center, a community library, a toy library, a fitness center for residents, and a multipurpose auditorium. It was constructed as a barrier-free, energy-saving, and eco-friendly building, featuring low-threshold construction, separate restrooms for men, women, and persons with disabilities, high-efficiency lighting utilizing solar and geothermal energy, and water-saving devices.
Mayor Cha stated that he will provide improved administrative services and various programs in the new building to carry out trusted administration for the residents.
