At the Namak Health Living Support Center, from the 17th of last month to the 17th of this month, about 200 children from five daycare centers are having their height, weight, and body composition measured, and a nutritionist is visiting the daycare centers to provide nutrition education focused on obesity and picky eating prevention.
In particular, cooking activity sessions such as Frog Morning Roll and Fruit Flowerpot Making have received great responses from residents and parents.
The Frog Morning Roll dish is made using ingredients that children tend to be picky about, such as paprika and lettuce, stimulating children's five senses while helping improve creativity and establish proper eating habits.
A county official said, “We will expand learning opportunities such as cooking class experiences and nutrition education to create an environment where children can grow up strong and healthy.”
