[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Geochang-gun, Gyeongnam Province, will hold a total of four workshops every Thursday from November 19 to December 10 on the operation of youth farmer experience farms as part of the Geochang Apple Convergence Complex Project.

This workshop, under the theme "Youth Rural Startups, What Will You Do?" is open to youths under 40 years old residing in the Geochang area.

The goal is to enhance understanding of returning to farming and rural startups and to foster leading farmers in the convergence industry.

The first workshop was held at Dreamtteul Healing Farm in Wanju-gun, where participants learned about programs for operating healing farms using the farm of CEO Song Mina, including horticulture, animal therapy, and forest therapy.

Healing farms are areas that provide activities to promote emotional, psychological, cognitive, and social health based on all rural resources where agricultural activities take place.

Ryu Ji-o, Director of the Agricultural Technology Center, said, "Despite the sluggish economy and depressed social atmosphere, we have prepared various programs to encourage the expectations and will of young farmers for rural startups," adding, "We hope that Geochang youth can encounter various cases of startups in rural areas and strengthen their determination to settle in Geochang."

The second workshop is scheduled for the 26th and will include a field trip program to Seoul COEX Food Week, where participants will have time to learn about food processing and food experience startups.
