Samsung Securities Closes Part of Samsung Seocho Building Due to Employee COVID-19 Confirmation

[Asia Economy Reporter Song Hwajeong] A confirmed case of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) has occurred at Samsung Securities, leading to the partial closure of Samsung Seocho Building.

According to the financial investment industry on the 23rd, a Samsung Securities employee working at the Seocho Building tested positive for COVID-19.

Accordingly, all employees who had contact with this individual or who work on the same floor underwent COVID-19 testing, and part of Building C, where Samsung Securities is located among the three buildings of Samsung Seocho Building, was temporarily closed until the test results were confirmed.

A Samsung Securities official explained, "Following the confirmed case, we have switched to working from home and distributed work shifts."
