[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Sharon] Geoje City, Gyeongnam Province, is promoting a youth support project that allows participants to receive double the amount they have saved, along with interest.
Geoje City announced on the 13th that it signed a business agreement with NH Nonghyup Bank Geoje Branch to implement the 'Geoje Youth Seed Account' project to help young people become independent.
The project targets 300 young people aged 19 to 34 residing in Geoje City who come from financially disadvantaged families. The project period is from January to December next year.
If eligible youth save up to 200,000 KRW per month, Geoje City will match the same amount, allowing them to receive double their savings plus interest after one year.
