[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] Woori Card announced on the 13th that it has completely rebuilt its digital channels in line with the untact era and newly launched them.
It is characterized by the introduction of 27 major functions that will innovatively improve customer experience across digital channels with the goal of implementing a 'full digital service.'
Full digital service refers to a system where financial needs that frequently arise in customers' daily lives can be started and completed digitally in a simple and fast manner. The three channels?homepage, mobile application (app), and mobile web?have been completely revamped, with the homepage service starting in July and the mobile channels launching this month.
Earlier, President Jung Won-jae accelerated the digital transformation strategy by establishing a digital group this year and recruiting external experts, including a Chief Digital Officer (CDO).
With this revamp, Woori Card enabled all card-related tasks such as product subscription, usage management, and asset inquiry services to be handled through digital channels. Regardless of site or device, tasks can be processed with the same single view, enhancing user experience satisfaction.
When customers log in, personalized content is provided, and features such as automatic filling of application information, mid-application saving, and ID card photo capture are offered during card application. Notably, for the first time in the industry, customers can set domestic merchant category restrictions for each individual card, supporting safe and planned consumption.
Integrated authentication functions have been applied with Woori Card’s Wibee Market and Wibee Members apps, allowing easy use without separate login. Additionally, specialized features such as automatic login and STT (Speech to Text) have improved customer accessibility and convenience.
A Woori Card official stated, "We plan to expand into an integrated platform connecting various digital services, including providing integrated services through synergy with Woori Financial Group affiliates such as Woori Bank and Woori Investment & Securities."
