Yoo Seung-min Returns to Yeouido... Hosts Housing Issue Forum

[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Former People Power Party lawmaker Yoo Seung-min is returning to the Yeouido stage with housing issues as his first agenda. It has been about six months since the end of the 20th National Assembly term.

According to political circles on the 10th, former lawmaker Yoo will hold a forum titled "Housing Issues, Let's Restore the Ladder" on the 16th at his office located in the Taeheung Building opposite the National Assembly building.

Instead of an office opening ceremony, Yoo will present a series of forums called "In the End, It's the Economy." Professors Son Jae-young from Konkuk University's Department of Real Estate and Lee Sang-young from Myongji University's Department of Real Estate will participate as panelists in the first forum.

Yoo named his office "Hope22." This appears to be a strategic move to block speculation about his candidacy for Seoul mayor by symbolizing the year 2022, when the presidential election will take place.
