[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] A report of an explosive device being installed at ASEM Tower in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul has been received, and police and fire authorities are investigating the situation.

According to the police on the 10th, the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul received a report around 6 p.m. that an explosive device had been installed at ASEM Tower, evacuated citizens inside, and is controlling the scene.

The police are currently deploying a special task force and bomb detection dogs to conduct a search for the explosive device.
