Silla University Kim Dae-sik, Head of Planning and Evaluation Team, Awarded Minister of Education Commendation for Contributions to National Education Development

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Kim Dae-sik, head of the Planning and Evaluation Team at Silla University, received a commendation from the Minister of Education for 'Meritorious Service in National Education Development.'

Since joining Silla University in 2002, Team Leader Kim has been recognized for his contributions to improving university finances and advancing education in the Republic of Korea.

Kim established a foundation for systematic and efficient budget management by reforming budget and accounting regulations, and operated a university finance task force team involving students, professors, and staff, contributing to increased transparency and trust in university administration.

He also played a leading role in overseeing administrative tasks for the Ministry of Education-led University Basic Competency Diagnosis and University Innovation Support Project, helping Silla University receive excellent evaluations.

Kim Dae-sik said, “I only tried to faithfully perform my duties. I am grateful to receive this valuable award thanks to the support of Silla University members,” adding, “I will continue to do my best for the development of the university and education.”

The Meritorious Service in National Education Development award is a system by the Ministry of Education that selects and honors individuals who have contributed to the advancement of the education sector.
