[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Professor Son Oe-cheol of Pukyong National University (Department of Public Safety and Police Studies) was recently appointed as a member of the 16th Policy Committee of the Ministry of Justice.


This committee is the highest-level advisory body to the minister established under the Ministry of Justice's regulations. It is composed of approximately 17 top expert members from various fields. The term of office is one year.


Professor Son, along with other committee members, holds regular monthly meetings and site visits to deliberate on matters related to the overall operation of justice administration and issues requested by the Minister of Justice.
