원본보기 아이콘[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heeyoon] Happycall announced on the 10th that it will launch the ‘Atji Blanc’ induction frying pan and pot 4-piece set, featuring bright colors and added depth.
This product is characterized by its simple shape and bright colors of mint and pearl gray. With a round body and square handle design, it was selected as a Good Design product in the ‘2020 Excellent Design (GD)’ hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and organized by the Korea Institute of Design Promotion.
The Atji Blanc frying pan and pot have sidewalls up to 2cm higher than existing Happycall products, reducing splashing or overflowing of ingredients during cooking. While becoming deeper, the bottom area has also been expanded. The pot has a capacity increased by 40% compared to previous products, allowing for neat cooking of large quantities of ingredients. Both the frying pan and pot are finished with hygienic special ceramic coating inside and out, making washing easy and enhancing durability. In particular, the interior is coated with white ceramic, making dishes stand out more when plating directly on the frying pan or pot at the table.
According to Happycall, the Atji Blanc frying pan and pot are equipped with soft-touch rubber-coated handles and silicone-edged lids to prevent collisions, enhancing user convenience by making them compatible with all heat sources such as gas ranges, induction, highlight, and hot plates. The Atji Blanc set consists of four pieces: a 16cm single-handle pot, a 20cm double-handle pot, a 20cm frying pan, and a 24cm frying pan.
A Happycall official said, “Atji is a name created by an actual Gen Z member of the kitchen product planning team, meaning ‘adding depth and completing with the sensibility of Gen Z.’ We plan to continue introducing products that meet the needs of MZ generation customers, like the Atji Blanc.”
