[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Seocho-gu (Mayor Eunhee Jo) declared itself as an environmental education city for the first time in Seoul in collaboration with the Seoul Gangnam Seocho Office of Education (Superintendent Yongho Kim) and Eco Mom Korea (CEO Jiwon Ha) on the 9th, two months ahead of the implementation of the new climate regime under the Paris Agreement, aiming for 2050 net zero (carbon neutrality).

Following this declaration, Seocho-gu plans to promote various environmental education programs for elementary, middle, and high school students to nurture Seocho's own 'Thunberg'.
