Kim Woori, Celebrating 26th Wedding Anniversary After Moving to Jeju: "Met at 19, Through Thick and Thin"

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bong-ju] Stylist Kim Woo-ri shared his thoughts on the first wedding anniversary since moving to Jeju Island.

On the 8th, Kim Woo-ri posted on his social media (SNS), "Today is our wedding anniversary celebrated in Jeju~ It may just be one day out of the year in a marriage that isn’t particularly special, but since this is our first wedding anniversary since starting our life in Jeju, there’s a certain special feeling of a new beginning," he began.

He wrote, "26 years ago... We promised with our pinkies to love and cherish each other for a lifetime through good times and bad, with black hair turning gray. Over the decades we’ve lived together, as many years as we’ve been together... we’ve had our ups and downs, life and death... sigh..."

He continued, "We met at 19 and have grown together as adults for nearly 30 years with our two lovely daughters~~ From now on, let’s become even stronger and more solid. Today, I promise again with my pinky in front of the candle," he said.

He then expressed his love for his wife, saying, "To my Hye-ran... You are someone I am grateful and thankful for my whole life. Thank you, and I love you very much."

Looking back, I wonder why I was such a foolish, silly, stupid, and clumsy husband pretending to be an adult...

Still, I’m truly grateful and proud of myself that over 1 year, 2 years, and then over 10, 20 years, we’ve come to understand and learn about each other.

We met at 19 and have grown together as adults for nearly 30 years with our two lovely daughters~~

From now on, let’s become even stronger and more solid. Today, I promise again with my pinky in front of the candle~

You are someone I am grateful and thankful for my whole life.
