[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] The Seoul Metropolitan Government announced that from midnight to 6 p.m. on the 5th, an additional 37 confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) were identified in Seoul. The cumulative number of COVID-19 cases in Seoul was recorded at 6,232 as of 6 p.m. that day.
Regarding the routes of infection, there were ▲2 cases related to a gym in Gangnam-gu (Seoul cumulative total 40) ▲1 case related to a workplace in Yeongdeungpo-gu (〃 11) ▲1 case related to a market in Songpa-gu (〃 5) ▲1 case related to music lessons (〃 5) ▲1 case related to a recording studio in Jongno-gu (〃 5) ▲1 case related to a church located in Songpa-gu (〃 7) ▲1 case related to the Ace Hope Care Center in Dongdaemun-gu (〃 22), among others.
There were 2 imported cases (〃 470), 24 cases classified as 'others' including sporadic cases and previous cluster infections (〃 4,186). Three cases (〃 1,049) are still under investigation regarding their infection routes.
