[SKT Concall] "T map October DAU 4.5 Million"

[Asia Economy Reporter Han Jinju] Lee Jongho, head of SK Telecom's Mobility Business Unit, stated, "As of October, T map recorded 4.5 million daily active users (DAU) and 13.2 million monthly active users (MAU). It accounts for 56% of registered vehicles in Korea and 74% of navigation users." He added, "Through data analysis based on T map, we already possess differentiated business models (BM), such as scoring driving patterns and offering insurance discount benefits."

Lee explained, "We have unique BMs including T map-based advertising and map data businesses. We provide T map-based infotainment services to BMW, Renault, Volvo, Jaguar, and others. The synergy created by utilizing SKT's marketing channels for differentiated services leveraging telecommunications and mobility is also a strength of SKT."
