[Asia Economy Reporter Han Jinju] Yoon Poong-young, Chief Financial Officer of SK Telecom, stated during the Q3 2020 earnings conference call on the 5th that regarding the plan to launch a low-cost 5G plan, "We are reviewing the restructuring of 5G plans in a customer-friendly direction considering the competitive environment and subscriber trends, and it is expected to be launched by the end of this year or early next year." He explained, "If the new plan is launched, the spread of 5G subscribers will accelerate, and although ARPU may decrease, the activation of 5G subscriptions will have a positive impact on wireless revenue growth."
