[Asia Economy Reporter Koo Chae-eun] LG Uplus stated during the conference call following the Q3 earnings announcement on the 5th, "We are aware that the Huawei issue is partially negatively affecting the stock price," but added, "This problem arose due to the US-China conflict. However, LG Uplus has completed coverage of Huawei, which accounts for about 30%, and there is no disruption to the services currently being provided."
LG Uplus also mentioned, "The 28 GHz band and next-generation issues are future concerns, but these two issues are distant agendas related to reality."
They further said, "In Q4, we will do our best to enhance shareholder value beyond our core telecommunications business. Especially next year, we plan to expand the seamless content market linking mobile and home services. We will also strengthen communication with the MZ generation."
