[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Hyung-gil] On the 4th, Min Ki-sik, CEO of Prudential Life Insurance, held a town hall meeting with employees to communicate the company's vision and strategy and share the direction moving forward.

CEO Min emphasized, "In a rapidly changing environment, Prudential Life Insurance needs change and innovation across all areas, breaking away from past frameworks."

This town hall meeting was organized to have employees collectively contemplate future changes and build consensus on the future direction. The meeting was held in a relaxed atmosphere, with practical employees from each rank attending and CEO Min sincerely answering questions employees were curious about.

CEO Min stated, "Since joining KB Financial Group, many must have been curious about the company's vision and strategy," adding, "What is certain is that the true value and philosophy of life insurance that Prudential Life Insurance has upheld for over 30 years will not change." He continued, "A customer-centric culture is the source of Prudential Life Insurance's competitiveness, and since KB Financial also values this the most, we can move forward without wavering."

CEO Min noted that 20 years ago, Prudential Life Insurance led the industry as an icon of innovation, earning the nickname of the house of whole life insurance by promoting the ‘Life Planner’ channel, a life insurance expert. He said, "If we stick only to the existing successful methods amid rapid changes, we will not be able to lead innovation," emphasizing the need for change by stating, "Now we must realize ‘super-gap’ through strong differentiation."

In particular, he mentioned that enhancing high-quality customer experience and digital capabilities to increase customer satisfaction is Prudential Life Insurance's top priority. He suggested exploring differentiation strategies that leverage Prudential Life Insurance’s competitive advantages in various areas such as growth and profitability.

CEO Min said, "The reason Prudential Life Insurance has grown into a sound insurance company is thanks to your efforts," and urged, "Please play a pivotal role in further strengthening competitiveness and enabling Prudential Life Insurance to leap forward as a leader in the life insurance market."

Meanwhile, CEO Min plans to hold eight small-scale town hall meetings with employees by rank to promote open communication. He is also actively engaging in communication on the sales front by directly visiting agencies nationwide and participating in meetings by career such as Life Planners (LP), Sales Managers (SM), and Agency Managers (AM).
