LG Electronics Partners with Baek Jong-won to Introduce 'High-Power' Dios Induction Cooker

Broadcaster and food service entrepreneur Baek Jong-won, CEO of The Born Korea, is stir-frying various ingredients of Pad Thai using the ultra-high power of the LG Dios induction electric stove.

[Asia Economy Reporter Ki-min Lee] LG Electronics announced on the 5th that it is introducing cooking methods for dishes from around the world together with Baek Jong-won, a broadcaster and restaurateur who is the CEO of The Born Korea, to promote the LG Dios Induction Electric Range.

LG Electronics recently released an online video under the concept of ‘LG Dios Induction X Baek Jong-won Ultra-High Power Food Trip.’ This video focuses on the ‘maximum 3300W,’ the highest power output in Korea for a single plug-type burner.

In each video, CEO Baek cooks dishes from Thailand, China, and the United States that require high heat. Baek Jong-won explains the recipes step-by-step to make them easy to follow while introducing why ultra-high power is necessary for cooking. He personally prepares Thai Pad Thai, Chinese Malatang, and American handmade burgers using the ultra-high power electric range.

The video shows CEO Baek quickly stir-frying tofu, shrimp, and onions with powerful heat to make Pad Thai, and grilling thick patties. It also demonstrates how Malatang, which requires quickly boiling Malatang sauce and various ingredients, is rapidly cooked using the Dios Induction.

CEO Baek also introduces not only the high power of the LG Dios Induction Electric Range but also features such as safely turning off the power via smartphone and 17 safety device systems.
