[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bong-ju] Child actor Kim Seong-min, known from 'Sunpung Obstetrics and Gynecology,' is getting married.

Kim Seong-min will hold the ceremony with his non-celebrity girlfriend at a location in Seoul on the 7th.

The couple is tying the knot after five years of dating.

Kim Seong-eun also congratulated Kim Seong-min on his marriage. Last month, Kim Seong-eun posted on her SNS a photo with Kim Seong-min along with the message, "'Old friends' is written, but it reads as tough friends. Congratulations on your wedding."

Kim Seong-min gained recognition by appearing as Eui-chan, the son of Kim Chan-woo, in SBS's 'Sunpung Obstetrics and Gynecology,' which aired from 1998 to 2000.

Even after Kim Chan-woo, who played the father, left the show, Kim Seong-min continued to appear regularly on 'Sunpung Obstetrics and Gynecology,' working alongside Midal (Kim Seong-eun), Jeong-bae (Lee Tae-ri), and Kwon Oh-joong.

At that time, he was recognized for his natural acting skills and won the SBS 'Acting Awards' Best Child Actor award in 1998. Currently, Kim Seong-min runs a cafe in Yeoksam-dong.
