Yoo Si-min to Resume YouTube Broadcast on the 6th... "Introducing Educational Books for Awake Citizens"

[Asia Economy Reporter Wondara] Yoo Si-min, chairman of the Roh Moo-hyun Foundation, will resume his YouTube broadcast after 7 months.

On the 4th, the Roh Moo-hyun Foundation announced in a press release, "Yoo Si-min's Alileo will start anew on the 6th at 7 PM under the name Alileo Book's," adding, "While Seasons 1 and 2 examined current social issues and controversies to deliver accurate knowledge and information, this season will transform into a program introducing a cultural guidebook for becoming an awakened citizen."

The broadcast will be hosted by lawyer Jo Su-jin, with experts relevant to each book's theme appearing to engage in discussions with Chairman Yoo. It will air every Friday at 7 PM and can be viewed on the Roh Moo-hyun Foundation website, Podbbang, Podty, YouTube, iTunes, and more. In the first episode, Chairman Yoo will discuss individual freedom in modern society and state power that restricts it, based on John Stuart Mill's "On Liberty," with Professor Gong Jin-seong of Chosun University.

Meanwhile, Chairman Yoo had announced his intention to suspend broadcasting after appearing on the vote-counting broadcast for the 21st National Assembly election on April 15, stating, "If I hadn't said (that the ruling coalition would secure 180 seats), it might have been 200 seats; it would have been better if I hadn't spoken," indicating his decision to halt the broadcast.
