Nine-Vehicle Collision Near Hayang Station in Gyeongsan City... 9 People Sustain Moderate Injuries

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Dong-wook] Around 1:10 PM on the 13th, an 8-ton truck collided with a 4.5-ton truck ahead of it on the road in front of Hayang Station, Geumrak-ri, Hayang-eup, Gyeongsan-si, Gyeongbuk Province.

Afterwards, the 4.5-ton truck was pushed forward and consecutively collided with eight vehicles, including passenger cars waiting at a signal and vehicles parked along the roadside. As a result of this accident, two people sustained serious injuries and seven others minor injuries; they have been transported to the hospital for treatment.

The police are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident by questioning witnesses and the drivers of the involved vehicles.
