[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Eun-young] Kim Hyun-chul, the second son of the late former President Kim Young-sam and executive director of the Kim Young-sam Democracy Center, raised his voice in criticism against the government.

On the 4th, Kim posted on his Facebook, "Suddenly, I thought of Kim Hyun-chul's song 'Dal-ui Mollak' (The Fall of the Moon)," and pointed out, "When you climb a mountain and reach the summit, you must come down." 'Dal' (Moon) is a nickname used by supporters to refer to President Moon.

He continued, "Thanks to a ruler we have never experienced before, it’s almost unbearable," and raised his voice, saying, "These ruthless forces may enjoy power for a while, but in the end, they will surely pay the price for making innocent citizens shed tears."

Regarding the police’s complete blockade of Gwanghwamun Square with vehicle barriers and fences to prevent some conservative groups’ rallies on National Foundation Day, Kim criticized, "Even though the court allowed vehicle protests, they created a 'Jaein Fortress' in the middle of the city, like a martial law state," adding, "There are also 40% Hongwibyeong (Red Guards). There are also dialect forces like Cho Kuk, Choo Mi-ae, Yoo Si-min, and Kim Eo-jun. They really built an ironclad defense wall." 'Hongwibyeong' is a metaphor referring to President Moon’s supporters.

He also sarcastically referred to the recent killing of our public official by North Korea, saying, "Even though our citizen was shot and burned by the enemy, they calmly declare the end of the war, watch performances, enjoy themselves, and instead of receiving reports, they comfortably fall asleep, cheers~."

Kim then mentioned the song 'Dal-ui Mollak' by the singer of the same name, Kim Hyun-chul, stating, "When you climb a mountain, even if you want to stay at the top for a long time, you must come down," and pointed out, "But sometimes, when coming down, a major accident happens. At that time, no defense or remedy is effective."
