[Asia Economy Reporter Yujin Cho] Lifestyle beauty company Aekyung Industrial (CEO Jaeyoung Lim) announced on the 13th that it will launch a ‘shopping bag-integrated gift set’ with differentiated gift set packaging.
The shopping bag-integrated gift set eliminates the shopping bag previously provided for convenience during transportation, integrating the shopping bag and gift set case to reduce unnecessary waste generation.
It consists of various daily necessities such as shampoo, rinse, and toothpaste, which are frequently used in everyday life. With an environmentally conscious mindset, floral and landscape paintings are applied to the design to brighten the atmosphere of the bathroom.
It is composed of three types: △ ‘Flower I-A’ expressing flowers with stylish illustrations △ ‘Flower I-B’ featuring elegant flowers in the design △ ‘Klimt I-A’ featuring landscape paintings by the Impressionist painter Gustav Klimt.
In particular, considering the overall proportion of the gift set components, the space ratio of the plastic tray was reduced by an average of about 15% compared to last year’s gift sets from the company. The gift set’s handle, tray, and case are designed to be easily separable for convenient recycling.
The shopping bag-integrated gift set is reasonably priced in the 10,000 KRW range, making it suitable as a gift for acquaintances to express gratitude this Chuseok.
An Aekyung Industrial official said, “By boldly excluding unnecessary packaging, we have launched a Chuseok gift set for the first time this year that integrates the shopping bag and product case, considering the environment. Aekyung Industrial will continue efforts to reduce the proportion of packaging materials.”
