[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunju Lee] Sejong University announced on the 11th that the securing rate of income-generating basic assets of the Dae-yang Hakwon Foundation, which manages the university, was 213%, ranking 13th in Korea. Sejong University explained that its financial soundness is very excellent and that stable support is a major driving force for the university's development. Among 146 private universities in Korea, only 39 universities have a securing rate of income-generating basic assets exceeding 100%. In addition, it ranked 9th domestically in the THE World University Rankings by the UK higher education evaluation agency. In particular, Sejong University was recognized as having the highest domestic level in citations, which reflect the qualitative excellence of papers. Sejong University ranked 2nd domestically in this indicator.
