[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Suwan] Mayor Park Won-soon of Seoul was found dead in the early morning of the 10th, about seven hours after a missing person report was filed. Meanwhile, some YouTubers have sparked controversy by visiting the search site and Mayor Park's funeral hall, where they made offensive remarks.

According to JTBC on the 10th, dozens of people, including right-wing YouTubers as well as reporters, gathered at the on-site briefing held after Mayor Park's body was recovered.

Reports indicate that the YouTubers asked questions directly to the police, but most of these questions were deemed inappropriate.

At the scene, one YouTuber asked, "Did he fall?" inquiring about the cause of death. The police responded, "We will not disclose details out of respect for the deceased and the bereaved family."

Despite this, the YouTubers continued their barrage of inappropriate questions. They even followed the search site while promoting conspiracy theories. Another YouTuber suggested, "Isn't the Moon Jae-in administration trying to hide something related to Mayor Park Won-soon's death?"

Furthermore, the YouTubers appeared at the hospital where Mayor Park's funeral hall was set up. They continued their online broadcasts there, making offensive remarks.

There are voices of criticism against these excessive actions by the YouTubers. It is pointed out that filming videos even at the funeral hall is inappropriate.

Meanwhile, Mayor Park left his official residence on the 9th and lost contact, and was found dead near Sukjeongmun in Bukaksan in the early morning of the 10th. It is known that just before his death, he was accused of sexual harassment by a former Seoul city employee.

Mayor Park's funeral hall has been set up at Seoul National University Hospital in Yeongeon-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul, and the funeral will be held over five days as a Seoul Metropolitan City official funeral (葬).
