'Radio Star' Kang Sung-yeon: "My Husband Kim Ga-on Is an Attention Seeker"

[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Min Jun-young] Actress Kang Sung-yeon referred to her husband Kim Ga-on as a "gwanjong" (someone who craves attention).

On the MBC variety show 'Radio Star' aired on the 1st, the two leads of the new Wednesday-Thursday drama 'Miss Lee Knows' Kang Sung-yeon and Jo Han-sun appeared as guests.

During the broadcast, Kang Sung-yeon revealed that the reason she appeared on KBS 2TV variety show 'Men Who Do Housework Season 2' was because of her husband Kim Ga-on.

She said, "My husband is a gwanjong," adding, "Since I have children, I often get offers for observational variety shows, but honestly, I don't want to do them because it's too revealing."

She continued, "However, my husband said it would be so much fun and wanted to do it. He told me, 'The kids are so cute, so let's show them to many people,' and encouraged me to appear," which brought laughter.

Then Kim Gu-ra asked, "If your husband gets an offer separately from Kang Sung-yeon, would he accept it?"

To this, Kang Sung-yeon replied, "Yes. Whether it's a documentary or a variety show, he wants to appear everywhere, so I told him not to even dream about it."

Meanwhile, Kang Sung-yeon and Kim Ga-on married in 2012 and have two sons.

Their first son was born in 2015, and their second son was born in 2016.
