원본보기 아이콘[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyo-jin] BNK Gyeongnam Bank announced on the 26th that it has signed a business agreement with the Ulsan Metropolitan Police Agency to promote an advanced traffic culture, including the campaign 'Stop immediately when you see a person!'
On the previous day, Bank President Hwang Yoon-chul visited the Ulsan Metropolitan Police Agency, held a business agreement ceremony with Chief Kim Jin-pyo, and signed the 'Good Driving Mileage Pledge' on behalf of all BNK Gyeongnam Bank employees.
According to this agreement, the two organizations will cooperate to establish an advanced traffic culture, protect citizens' lives and property from traffic accidents, and implement a traffic culture that prioritizes people who respect law and order. In particular, BNK Gyeongnam Bank has committed that all its employees will actively participate in traffic safety promotion, education, and campaign activities promoted by the Ulsan Metropolitan Police Agency. The Ulsan Metropolitan Police Agency will actively support the enrollment of all BNK Gyeongnam Bank employees in the 'Good Driving Mileage' program, which encourages compliance with traffic laws.
President Hwang said, "Awareness and actions to stop at crosswalks for pedestrian safety must be practiced," and added, "I hope that many Ulsan citizens, including all BNK Gyeongnam Bank employees, will take interest in and actively participate in the 'Stop immediately when you see a person!' campaign."
