[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyojin] OK Savings Bank announced on the 25th that it will completely revamp its mobile financial application (app) ‘OK Mobile Banking.’
The revamp, scheduled for the 26th, is linked with the open API provided by the Korea Federation of Savings Banks to establish a non-face-to-face deposit process. Through this, users can conveniently use the financial services of OK Savings Bank with the stability guaranteed by the Korea Federation of Savings Banks.
The newly introduced mobile banking service features an improved non-face-to-face account opening process. To enhance customer convenience and usability, the account opening and loan processes have been simplified. On the first screen after login, ‘My Account’ information is displayed immediately, allowing customers to check their transaction history at a glance. The main screen is organized so that key tasks can be handled easily and conveniently by users.
Additionally, the UI and UX of mobile banking have been comprehensively revamped to enable anyone to easily use non-face-to-face financial services. Based on customers’ usage patterns, financial product information, suitable product recommendations, and personalized messages are provided. Furthermore, financial terms that were previously bank-centered or difficult for customers to understand have been changed to expressions that consumers can easily comprehend.
An OK Savings Bank official stated, “This revamp was carried out with the goal of stabilizing the service and increasing convenience so that more customers can use financial services safely and conveniently.” He added, “We will continue to improve so that the service can be used easily and simply on mobile devices without restrictions of place and time. Also, based on customers’ usage data, we plan to add customized information and product recommendation functions so that more customers can use the service comfortably and easily.”
Meanwhile, prior to the mobile banking revamp, OK Savings Bank will conduct regular maintenance from 8 PM on the 25th to 9 AM on the 26th to test overall service stability and update the system. During the maintenance period, mobile banking service use will be restricted, and the maintenance time may be extended or shortened depending on the situation.
