[Post-Corona Strategy] 'Look Killfat Diet' Lactobacillus Complex Helps Reduce Body Fat

[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Korea Yakult has newly launched a health functional food called 'Look Killfat Diet' that helps reduce body fat.

The newly introduced 'Look Killfat Diet' is a dual-formulation (capsule + liquid) product made from a Lactobacillus complex combining Korea Yakult's patented probiotics 'HY7601' and 'KY1032'. The Lactobacillus complex contained in the capsule has completed individual recognition by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety for its potential to help reduce body fat.

In particular, human clinical trials confirmed significant reductions in six indicators: weight, BMI, subcutaneous fat area, body fat percentage, body fat mass, and total fat area. The probiotics, derived from plants extracted from kimchi, were developed by selecting two strains from Korea Yakult's proprietary library of over 4,500 strains. The research period spanned 17 years.

Additionally, prebiotics, which serve as food for probiotics in liquid form, were included. Xylooligosaccharide 900 mg, meeting the main ingredient content requirements, was used to also consider gut health, which can be neglected during dieting.

Special attention was also paid to the product formulation. The capsules containing the patented probiotics are coated with a special acid-resistant coating to maximize survival in the intestines. Packaged in patented dual capsules, they can be conveniently consumed together with the liquid.
