[Asia Economy Reporter Jo Gang-wook] KB Kookmin Bank announced on the 22nd that it has revamped its asset management application 'KB My Money' by linking it with open banking.
KB My Money is an app that manages assets not only from KB Kookmin Bank but also from other banks, cards, securities, and insurance. Through this revamp, it has been improved to reflect data from open banking registered accounts, allowing users to receive diagnostics on overall asset increase/decrease, asset status, and consumption patterns.
Additionally, the home screen now includes features such as ▲Net Asset Information ▲Weekly Report ▲Today's Content (linking to events and major services).
To commemorate the revamp of KB My Money, KB Kookmin Bank will hold an event from the 25th until the end of July. By completing various missions and entering prizes with mileage, participants will be entered into a draw to win ▲500,000 KRW in cash ▲Galaxy Buds Plus ▲Starbucks coupons. Multiple entries are allowed, increasing the chances of winning the more the app is used.
A KB Kookmin Bank official said, "We improved the service by utilizing open banking data to provide high-quality asset management services," adding, "We will continue to lead the untact financial era with differentiated services."
