Active Duty Soldier Kills Partner at Their Home During Leave... Arrested Red-Handed

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Ga-yeon] An active-duty soldier who killed his girlfriend while on leave was arrested by the police and handed over to the military police.
The Anseong Police Station in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 21st that they arrested Private A (22) on charges of murder and transferred him to the military police.
Private A is accused of visiting an officetel located in Daedeok-dong, Anseong-si, Gyeonggi Province, where his girlfriend B (22) lived, at around 9:30 p.m. on the 20th and stabbing B multiple times with a weapon, killing her.
B was immediately taken to a nearby hospital but was reported to have died.
Private A was on leave at the time of the crime and is believed to have prepared the weapon in advance before visiting B.
The police, who responded to the report and arrived at the scene, arrested Private A on the spot and handed him over to the military police.
According to Yonhap News, a police official stated, "The exact circumstances need to be investigated by the military."
