[Asia Economy Reporter Minwoo Lee] A technical analysis report containing the latest industry classification and analysis of KOSDAQ-listed companies will be published.

The Korea Exchange announced on the 19th that it will launch the 2020 KOSDAQ Technical Analysis Report project in collaboration with the Korea IR Association and the Korea Securities Depository.

This project is the third year of the KOSDAQ Technical Analysis Report initiative, which has been promoted since May 2018 in accordance with the government's "Capital Market Innovation Plan through Revitalization of the KOSDAQ Market." It is jointly sponsored by the Korea Exchange and the Korea Securities Depository and organized by the Korea IR Association. For this project, the Korea IR Association has signed contracts with technology credit evaluation (TCB) companies such as NICE Information Service, NICE D&B, and Korea Enterprise Data.

The report consists of two types: the Innovative Growth Item Analysis Report and the Corporate Technology Analysis Report. The existing industry theme report will be reorganized into the Innovative Growth Item Analysis Report to strengthen analysis information on government-promoted promising industries and detailed items. Previously, classifications were only under Fintech (technology + finance), but now they will be subdivided into remittance/payment, financial data analysis, financial software, and so on. The three TCB companies will share the workload at a certain ratio and publish a total of 630 reports.

Meanwhile, measures to facilitate easier use of the reports will also be promoted. The reports will be produced as videos and uploaded to a YouTube channel, and notifications of report publications will be sent through the mobile messenger 'KakaoTalk' channel. Additionally, the reports will be accessible via the Korea Exchange's investor comprehensive information portal (SMILE), the disclosure system for listed companies (KIND), the Korea Securities Depository's securities information portal (SEIBro), the Korea IR Association website, Naver Finance, FnGuide, Paxnet, and others.

The reports are scheduled to be published regularly every Thursday from the 4th of next month until May 2021. A Korea Exchange official stated, "We plan to continue providing substantial information about the KOSDAQ market and listed companies by reflecting investors' opinions."
