[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] On the morning of the 14th, Chaehyunil, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo District, urged district officials at the on-site response team set up at Yeongdeungpo Hospital to make every effort to block community infection through rapid testing and thorough quarantine.

On that day, a confirmed case among district residents occurred at Yeongdeungpo Hospital, where the patient was infected after receiving treatment from an occupational therapist who had visited the Itaewon club.

The district issued a temporary closure order for Yeongdeungpo Hospital and set up an on-site response team in front of the hospital to conduct disinfection.

Additionally, messages were sent to visitors of the hospital guiding them to undergo COVID-19 testing.
