[Asia Economy Reporter Ryu Jeong-min] The Blue House announced on the afternoon of the 14th that "a meeting of the NSC Standing Committee was held, presided over by National Security Office Director Jeong Eui-yong."

The Blue House explained, "The standing committee members reviewed the global trends of COVID-19 and discussed ways to actively participate in and contribute to the social and economic normalization process of the international community in the post-COVID era, based on South Korea's leading role in overcoming COVID-19."

The Blue House added, "The standing committee members also discussed the pressing issues of inter-Korean health and medical cooperation as well as the continuous promotion of the Korean Peninsula peace process."
