Suncheon City Announces Recruitment for Tenants at Underground Shopping Center (Sinaemall)

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] Suncheon City announced that it will publicly recruit tenants for six vacant stores in the underground shopping mall (Sinae Mall) over two days from May 27 to 28 to support startups and job creation for youth and small business owners.

The stores open for recruitment include five general stores and one youth startup store. The youth startup store will be selected through an evaluation of the store usage proposal, while the general stores will be selected through a general competitive bidding process.

For the general stores, there are no restrictions on items such as clothing, shoes, and accessories as long as there are no facility changes. The highest bidder based on the price proposal in the general competitive bidding will be selected. The youth startup store is targeted at adults aged 39 or younger who have innovative ideas and wish to challenge themselves with a startup.

The initial usage permit period for stores in the Suncheon underground shopping mall (Sinae Mall) is five years to ensure stable store operation, and it can be renewed once within five years.

Applications must be submitted in person to the underground shopping mall (Sinae Mall) management office by 6 p.m. on May 27 (Wednesday) to May 28 (Thursday).
