[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Yoon Jamin] Gwangju Gwangsan Fire Station (Chief Moon Gisik) announced on the 14th that it will conduct a 'Team Unit Tactical Training Evaluation' to strengthen on-site response expertise for paramedics until the 19th.
The paramedics participating in this tactical training evaluation will wear personal protective equipment (masks, gloves, etc.) and be assessed on team mission comprehension, skill proficiency, and teamwork among members.
The evaluation item is the Smart Advanced Life Support (SALS) procedure for cardiac arrest patients, and to ensure fairness, it will be conducted according to the paramedics' fire tactical training evaluation form.
Cho Hyukhwan, Director of Disaster Response, stated, "To increase the survival rate of cardiac arrest patients, securing the golden time and providing rapid and accurate emergency treatment are very important," adding, "We will continue to do our best to protect citizens' lives through various training and regular evaluations of paramedics."
