[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] Dong-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (Mayor Im Taek) announced on the 14th that it conducted a 'Living Social Distancing' practice campaign to prevent the resurgence of COVID-19 and to establish social distancing early.
At the campaign held in front of Chungjang-ro Post Office, about 30 members of the Korea Beauty Association Dong-gu Branch (Branch President Lee Ye-sun) and public officials participated, distributing leaflets and promotional materials on living quarantine rules to citizens.
Im Taek, Mayor of Dong-gu, said, "Recently, as residents' outdoor activities have increased, signs of COVID-19 resurgence are appearing," and added, "As compliance with quarantine rules to block the spread of COVID-19 has become more important, we ask for active participation in living social distancing."
