Park Narae Shows Leniency to Mart Employee Involved in Personal Data Leak: "Asked Not to Fire Directly"

[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Yeon-ju] A staff member at a famous electronics store leaked comedian Park Narae's personal information, but Park Narae's side has expressed a willingness to show leniency.

A representative from Park Narae's side stated on the 14th through multiple media outlets, "We received an apology call from the store representative."

In particular, it is known that Park Narae personally requested that the employee not be fired and showed leniency. The representative explained, "Park Narae did not want the issue to escalate," adding, "Regarding the employee's mistake, she considered it a 'mistake' and directly asked the store to show leniency."

Earlier, on the 13th, a post was uploaded on an online community accusing an electronics store employee of leaking Park Narae's personal information in a group chat.

According to the post, the store employee posted Park Narae's home address, mobile phone number, and other personal information in the group chat after she visited the store. The post reportedly included photos of a 'fact confirmation letter' submitted by the employee who committed the incident to the company.

The author of the post explained that although a complaint was filed with the company, the company quietly handled the situation by having all participants in the group chat leave the chat room.
