Forty volunteers, including CEO Choi Chang-soo of Nonghyup P&C Insurance, helped with tasks such as grape shoot trimming, ginseng flower picking, and onion weeding, supporting farmers facing labor shortages during the busy farming season. They worked alongside village residents, listened to the difficulties faced by farmers, and sought various ways to interact, providing comfort to the farming community.
CEO Choi Chang-soo said, "We made efforts to support farms experiencing labor shortages due to the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19)," adding, "We will do our best to support farming activities throughout the year through various activities."
