[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Seul-gi] Actor Baek Seong-hyun (31) married a non-celebrity bride on the 25th.

Baek Seong-hyun said, "I still can't believe it, but I am getting married. We will cherish and love each other and live well," adding, "With this marriage as a turning point, I will come back as a better actor with better works. Thank you."

Earlier, Baek Seong-hyun's agency SidusHQ stated on the 6th, "We would appreciate it if you could send warm congratulations to the couple who are about to start a new chapter in their lives," and added, "Baek Seong-hyun will do his best as an actor to repay the love he receives and show better activities in the future."

Baek Seong-hyun, who completed his mandatory service as a police officer in the Korea Coast Guard in October last year, confirmed that he held a wedding ceremony after dating his non-celebrity fianc?e for four years. The wedding was held privately, inviting only a small number of close relatives and acquaintances from both families.

Baek Seong-hyun debuted in 1994 with the film I Wish for Forbidden Things. Since then, he has appeared in dramas such as Watch and Watch Again, Solar Type Lee Je-ma, Damo, Stairway to Heaven, Iris 2, and Voice.
