[Asia Economy Reporter Song Yoon-jung] Singer Tae Jin-ah has transformed into an actor.
Tae Jin-ah made a surprise appearance in episode 4 of KBS1's new evening daily drama "Gimakhin Yusan" (directed by Kim Hyung-il / written by Kim Kyung-hee), which aired on the 23rd, meeting viewers in their living rooms.
On that day, Tae Jin-ah appeared as a singer acquaintance of Geumgang (played by Nam Sung-jin), the second son of Bu Yeong-gam (played by Park In-hwan), and showcased a sly comedic performance, including gazing intently at a woman exercising in a health club.
In particular, his natural facial expressions and tone of voice, as well as his perfect chemistry with Nam Sung-jin, instantly captured the viewers' attention.
In this way, Tae Jin-ah's everyday acting, which blended into the drama as smoothly as flowing water, was more than enough to provide viewers with a unique enjoyment.
Regarding this, Tae Jin-ah expressed through his agency, "It was a personal pleasure to have the opportunity to meet the public through acting after a long time," and added, "Although I was lacking, it seems that many people enjoyed watching it, which gave me strength. I would like to express my gratitude to the actors and staff who helped me a lot on the side."
Tae Jin-ah previously appeared as a convenience store part-timer in the 2006 film "Magang Hotel," and in 2017, he was cast as the lead in KBS's Chuseok special drama "13wol-ui Romance," showcasing his acting skills.
Meanwhile, Tae Jin-ah recently attracted attention by releasing a new song titled "Let's Overcome COVID-19," which conveys hopes for overcoming the pandemic.
