[Photo] Seongbuk-gu Public and Private Childcare Centers Association Donates 10 Million Won for COVID-19 Relief Fund

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Seongbuk-gu (Mayor Lee Seung-ro) announced that the Association of Public and National Daycare Centers in the area (President Hwang In-sook) donated 10 million won to support neighbors struggling due to COVID-19.

Recently, during this time when the whole world has temporarily come to a halt due to COVID-19, daycare centers are also going through a difficult period of closure and emergency care. Despite this, all 87 public and national daycare centers in Seongbuk-gu gathered money to prepare the donation.

Hwang In-sook, President of the Seongbuk-gu Association of Public and National Daycare Centers, said, “With the small sincerity of the directors of public daycare centers, we want to support neighbors going through difficult times. We hope that we can all overcome this challenging period well and return to a healthy daily life as soon as possible.”

Lee Seung-ro, Mayor of Seongbuk-gu, stated, “I am grateful for the sincerity shown to help local residents facing economic difficulties due to COVID-19, and I will do my best not to disappoint the sincerity and expectations shown.”
